"Books and reading culture in the context of digital transformation"

That was the topic of a seminar organized by the Digital Center ( Thai Nguyen University) to celebrate Reading Day and promote reading habits among students, held on the morning of April 2nd.

Leaders of Thai Nguyen University presented commemorative flags to the units participating in the seminar celebrating Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2024.

At the seminar, delegates and students exchanged and discussed topics such as: the role of books and reading culture in social life; solutions for building smart libraries and applying RFID technology in library operations; and core content in teaching and learning in the 4.0 era...

The seminar contributed to conveying a meaningful message: Digital transformation is always an open opportunity, a tool that helps us to further honor and preserve the value of reading. Because the knowledge in books will help people become more complete, possessing intelligence, character, and competence, and constantly adapting to the development of modern society…

The seminar is part of a series of events celebrating Vietnam's Book and Reading Culture Day, leading up to the 30th anniversary of the founding of Thai Nguyen University (April 4, 1994 - April 4, 2024).

As part of the seminar, there was a book quiz competition, an artistic book stacking competition, and more.
