The Thuy Tram village in Tien Luong commune has long been known as one of the largest "capitals" of red carp farming in Northern Vietnam. In the days leading up to the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, the people of Thuy Tram village are busy harvesting red carp to meet the demand of people buying "red cars" to send off the Kitchen God, hoping for good fortune and prosperity in the new year.

The village of Thủy Trầm is bustling with activity at the end of the year, with people harvesting fish and transporting them to various provinces and cities such as Hanoi , Bắc Ninh, Điện Biên, etc.
From the 18th to the 19th of the twelfth lunar month, people are busy pulling nets, pumping water, catching fish, sorting them, and transferring them into cement tanks to ensure timely supply to the market.
The fish are placed in a holding tank to acclimate to the environment before being sold.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa's family (in Dong Minh area) harvested about 3-4 quintals of fish this season.
