In addition, Samsung's official website in Spain recently announced a series of new features included with this update, including a new lock screen, media player widget, the "Nowbar" live activity widget, and new icons. Furthermore, the update will also integrate Galaxy AI features such as Circle to Search, Sketch to Image, Portrait Studio, Live Effects, Live Translate, and AI Zoom.

On X, reliable tech journalist Max Jambor reported that the One UI 7 beta program officially launched in Germany on December 5th. This information was also confirmed by another source, @theonecid, who shared a screenshot of a conversation with Samsung's customer support in Germany, confirming the launch date.

It's worth noting that only three models in the Galaxy S24 lineup are eligible for the One UI 7 beta program, while the Galaxy S24 FE is not on the list. This isn't surprising, as Samsung typically starts beta programs with the top-of-the-line models in the Galaxy S series.

Leak expert IceUniverse also shared a video showcasing the lock screen features of the One UI 7 update on the X platform. Currently, it is unclear whether Galaxy S24 users in the US and South Korea will receive the One UI 7 beta update at the same time or will have to wait a few more days.

To prepare for receiving the update, users need to ensure that their Galaxy S24 has the latest version of the Samsung Members app installed.
