Samsung will start rolling out the One UI 7 beta program from December 5. Previously, it was reported that the One UI 7 beta program will be rolled out to Galaxy S24 users in Korea, the US, and Germany.
Announcement confirming the rollout of One UI 7 beta to Galaxy S24 users in Germany
One UI 7 beta brings many interesting features to users
In addition, Samsung's official Spanish website recently announced a series of new features that come with this update, including a new lock screen, media player widget, "Nowbar" live activity widget, and new icons. In addition, the update will also integrate Galaxy AI features such as Circle to Search, Sketch to Image, Portrait Studio, Live Effects, Live Translate, and AI Zoom.
On X, reliable tech journalist Max Jambor said that the One UI 7 beta program officially launched in Germany on December 5. This information was also confirmed by another source, @theonecid, who shared a screenshot of a conversation with Samsung's customer support in Germany, confirming the launch date.
It should be noted that only three models in the Galaxy S24 series are eligible for the One UI 7 beta program, while the Galaxy S24 FE is not on the list. This is not too surprising since Samsung usually starts the beta program with the flagship models in the Galaxy S series.
Leakster IceUniverse has also shared a video showcasing the lock screen features of the One UI 7 update on the X platform. It is currently unclear whether Galaxy S24 users in the US and South Korea will receive the One UI 7 beta update at the same time or will have to wait a few more days.
To prepare for receiving the update, users need to make sure that their Galaxy S24 has the latest version of the Samsung Members app installed.
