Recently, at the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2024) held in Barcelona, Spain, renowned brands such as Samsung, Lenovo, Motorola, and others unveiled numerous futuristic technology products, many of which were making their debut at the event.
The phone has no app.
According to ZDNet, Deutsche Telekom, the parent company of T-Mobile, unveiled the smartphone but without an app at the event.
Accordingly, this smartphone integrates an artificial intelligence (AI) virtual assistant developed by Brain.ai to support users in various tasks without needing any other applications.

Wrist roll phone
According to CNET, Samsung has introduced the Cling Band smartphone, which is so customizable that users can wrap it around their wrist, turning it into a smartwatch with a large OLED screen.
To achieve this, Samsung used a textured surface on the device's body, including the front, edges, and back.
The Cling Band comes in two colors: black and purple. It uses a USB Type-C port and has a speaker grille on the bottom. A single camera and heart rate sensor are located on the back. The inclusion of a heart rate sensor makes it function as a watch for monitoring heart rate and other health metrics.
However, some experts say it would be uncomfortable to wear a bulky device on the wrist for extended periods.

At the event, Motorola also showcased a flexible phone that can be bent backward. This allows two users sitting opposite each other to watch movies and play games on a single screen. The device also has magnets to wrap around the wrist, transforming it into a watch despite its rather large size. The phone's interface adapts to how the phone is bent.
However, these two products are currently just concepts. The companies have not yet announced a commercialization date for these product lines.

Smart ring
Samsung's Galaxy Ring is shaped like a ring. This device tracks heart rate, breathing rate, sleep, and nighttime movement, and can even detect early signs of sleep apnea.
Samsung is also marketing the Galaxy Ring as an accessory for the Galaxy Watch that allows for 24/7 activity and health tracking with higher quality.
It also calculates the user's health score based on a combination of daily activity, sleep, resting heart rate, and heart rate variability. Users can also set specific health goals and will receive feedback on their progress through the Booster Card available in the Samsung Health app.
The Galaxy Ring will come in sizes 5-13, marked S to XL on the inside, and in three colors: ceramic black, platinum silver, and gold. Expected battery life is 2-3 days.

Additionally, at their booth, Samsung also showcased charging cases for Bluetooth headphones, smart speakers, smart car keys, golf ball markers, and more, all equipped with OLED screens.
Laptop with a transparent screen
Lenovo showcased a Thinkbook model at the event featuring a transparent 17.3-inch MicroLED display. When interacting with the screen, users experienced a rather difficult sensation as the cursor moved as if suspended in mid-air, and selecting applications was comparable to using Apple's Vision Pro glasses.
Lenovo claims the screen can reach a brightness of up to 1,000 nits, while the brightness of most laptops on the market today is only around 400 nits.
In addition to its transparent display, the Thinkbook also features a virtual keyboard and can transform into a drawing tablet using technology similar to Wacom.
