Evaluating the quality of the tournament, Mr. Tran Anh Tu, Vice President of the Vietnam Football Federation, affirmed: “Not only has the number of participating teams increased, but the tournament has also shown clear progress in terms of professionalism. What impressed us most was the enthusiastic, united, and fair-play spirit of the teams. Although they did not have professional players, the teams all played with responsibility, collective pride, and the colors of their respective units. In this tournament, one could easily feel the spirit of overcoming difficulties, collective will, and cohesion—qualities very characteristic of Vietnamese workers.”

Entering its fourth season, the tournament has expanded significantly in both scale and professional quality. While in its early seasons it was considered merely a grassroots competition for workers, it has now become a highly anticipated sporting event, attracting considerable attention from localities, businesses, and a large number of fans. According to journalist Tran Xuan Toan, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre Newspaper and Head of the Organizing Committee, the scale of organization and media impact of the tournament have improved significantly with each season. In particular, the 2025 season saw nearly 1,000 participating athletes, over 100,000 spectators in attendance, and tens of millions of views across various media platforms.

According to journalist Tran Xuan Toan, the vitality of the tournament lies not only in its professional standards but also in the community value it brings. "Through this tournament, Tuoi Tre Newspaper hopes to strongly spread the spirit of 'being healthy to work, being healthy to create, being healthy to contribute.' Because behind each player on the field is the image of millions of Vietnamese workers striving to work, build families, contribute to businesses, and to the development of the country," journalist Tran Xuan Toan emphasized.

In reality, the Vietnam Workers' and Employees' Football Tournament has transcended the boundaries of a typical sporting event. Matches on the field have become a platform for workers to demonstrate teamwork, determination, and resilience in overcoming difficulties. From factory workers and office staff to union officials, everyone comes together in a shared passion for football, a spirit of fair play, and a desire to contribute.

This humanitarian significance is further demonstrated when the tournament becomes a bridge for charitable activities and social responsibility. In the 2025 season, readers of Tuoi Tre Newspaper contributed 1 billion VND to support workers and laborers in Central Vietnam affected by floods and storms. The four best teams also donated half of their prize money, equivalent to 250 million VND, to support those in need. From the football field, the spirit of sharing and community responsibility continues to spread strongly.
