Manchester United are preparing to enter negotiations to offload Jadon Sancho, as the player has agreed personal terms with Fenerbahce.

Jadon Sancho is closer than ever to leaving Manchester United, with Türkiye being a possible destination. Despite previous interest from Juventus and Napoli, the English star has reached a personal agreement with Fenerbahce, as confirmed by Turkish media.

The former Dortmund player is reportedly set to earn around £8.5 million per season at his new club. While this figure is lower than what he currently earns at Manchester United, moving to Turkey – where income tax rates are significantly lower than in England – will allow Sancho to maintain his net income after tax.

Fenerbahce are currently preparing to begin negotiations with Manchester United. With the Red Devils keen to offload Sancho to restructure their squad under manager Ruben Amorim, a deal could be finalized within the next few weeks. MU initially expected to receive around £25 million – a price equivalent to the buyout clause Chelsea had previously agreed to. However, it's not ruled out that they will compromise and lower the price to finalize the deal as soon as possible.

Sancho was signed by Manchester United for £73 million from Dortmund in the summer of 2021. However, his career at Old Trafford never lived up to expectations. After 83 appearances for the Manchester club, the player born in 2000 only scored 12 goals and provided 6 assists – numbers that do not match his value and potential.

A conflict with manager Erik ten Hag almost certainly ended Sancho's future at Manchester United. He was loaned back to Dortmund for the second half of the 2023/24 season, before returning to Old Trafford this past summer. However, Ten Hag's continued failure to include Sancho in his plans led Manchester United to loan him to Chelsea, also with a £25 million buy-out clause.
