Initiatives stemming from practical work experience.

For over 7 years working at the branch of Hoang Minh Water Joint Stock Company (Duc Hoa district, Long An province), the Water Treatment Team Leader, Thi Thanh Trung, has not only worked diligently but also demonstrated creativity, contributing to reducing labor, increasing production efficiency, and ensuring occupational safety and hygiene, as well as fire and explosion prevention at the enterprise.

Working in an environment with many passionate and creative people, contributing to improving product quality, innovating designs, and protecting the company's brand reputation, Mr. Trung has also been able to spread his influence and develop his abilities.

During his work, he implemented many innovative initiatives, including the initiative to reuse low-pH water after electrolysis and wastewater from the RO machine at the Life Ion Water Production Plant, which was highly appreciated and rewarded by the Company's Board of Directors and helped him receive a Certificate of Commendation from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for being an outstanding worker in 2025.

Thi Thanh Trung, Head of Water Treatment at Hoang Minh Water Joint Stock Company (Duc Hoa district), has come up with initiatives to overcome limitations and difficulties in his work.

During his work, Mr. Trung noticed that the low-pH water produced after electrolysis (approximately 70 /day) was used as a domestic water source for the company's 65 factory workers (4.5 - an average of 70 liters/person/day), for watering the yard (2 /day), and for some processes such as washing tanks (32 /day).

The remaining approximately 31.5 /day is discharged. The RO system has a wastewater/purified water ratio of 2:8 under standard conditions. Therefore, for every 10 liters of water filtered, the RO water purifier will produce 2 liters of wastewater, leaving 8 liters of purified water. The plant uses 50 of purified water and discharges 12 m³ of RO wastewater.

Therefore, Trung came up with an initiative to improve the model for reusing low-pH water after electrolysis and wastewater from the RO machine. Thanks to the support of his colleagues and the factory's management, he was given favorable conditions from the initial testing phase to the completion and implementation.

The initiative was recognized and implemented by the Factory Management Board, thereby maximizing the utilization of groundwater resources by making full use of the byproduct of alkaline ionized water production – the previously surplus low-pH water (31.5 /day) – for production; and utilizing the wastewater from the RO machine for toilets, yard irrigation, and plant watering, saving 12 of water per day. This initiative benefits the company by 150 million VND per year.

Mr. Trung shared: “I feel proud that my initiative has been recognized and highly appreciated. This is the result of many months of research and testing. I feel happy to be able to apply the knowledge from my previous major, Environmental Science (Saigon University), to the company's reality, contributing to reducing resource waste and protecting the environment . Especially with a dynamic work environment and supportive colleagues, I am also motivated to have new initiatives in the future and am committed to working with the company long-term.”

With a sense of responsibility, a passion for innovation, and an awareness of environmental protection, Mr. Trung transforms his daily work concerns into practical and effective solutions. His initiatives not only save costs and resources for the company but also contribute to spreading the spirit of innovation in labor and production.
