There will soon be a high-speed boat route from Bach Dang Wharf to Binh Khanh Commune.

On the afternoon of October 17, Mr. Mai Trung Hung, Deputy Director of the Department of Construction of Ho Chi Minh City, said that the Department has approved the policy of exploiting the passenger transport route by high-speed boat from Pier No. 4 - Bach Dang High-Speed ​​Boat Wharf, Saigon Ward to Tam Thon Hiep Inland Waterway Wharf, Binh Khanh Commune, proposed by Can Gio Urban Tourism Joint Stock Company.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction has requested the Can Gio Urban Tourism Joint Stock Company to coordinate with the People's Committee of Binh Khanh commune to consider and approve the use of high-speed boats operated by DP Green Technology Co., Ltd. (the company that leased the vessels) to dock at the Tam Thon Hiep ferry terminal to pick up and drop off passengers. In addition, the company needs to develop an operational plan that ensures safety and may upgrade the terminal infrastructure (if necessary) to accommodate high-speed boats with a maximum capacity of 151 passengers, minimizing disruption to local residents' lives.

This is considered an important step in strengthening transportation and tourism connections between the center of Ho Chi Minh City and the Can Gio area, contributing to promoting local socio -economic development.
