The first General Assembly of the Digital Trust Alliance took place this afternoon, January 10th, in Hanoi , attracting 200 delegates representing state management agencies, businesses, digital platforms, social organizations, as well as artists, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and content creators.
According to Nguyen Tien Cuong, Secretary General of the Digital Trust Alliance, in 2026, the alliance will build an AI Digital Trust Ambassador capable of long-term collaboration with programs and delivering messages about online safety to young people.
AI ambassadors also serve as fake news fact-checkers, disseminators of digital safety knowledge; safety companions for children and teenagers; and bridges between technology, experts, and the community.

The alliance plans to implement the initiative in three phases: building a beloved idol; developing the ambassador's lifestyle, style, and personality through interaction with artists and celebrities; and deploying the AI ambassador to represent the alliance's action programs.
In the face of increasing risks such as fake news, scams, and online harassment, in 2026, the Digital Trust Alliance will focus on establishing standards of responsible behavior, while also implementing programs, tools, and models to help communities identify, prevent, and effectively respond to threats in the digital space.

By connecting government agencies, businesses, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and the social community, the Alliance aims to protect vulnerable groups, enhance users' self-protection capabilities, and spread positive values, contributing to strengthening sustainable digital trust in society.
The alliance continues to implement its influencer credentials program, focusing on developing a set of responsible conduct standards for online influencers, as a foundation for training, commitment, and credibility assessment.
In addition, the alliance is implementing a program to verify fake news and misinformation generated by AI, building "fake news immunity" for the community through a platform for reporting, verifying, and alerting about fake news using AI; and forming a nationwide network of communities verifying fake news.
The alliance will also continue to implement the "Not Alone - Staying Safe Online Together 2026" program; and organize the 2nd National KOL Conference, tentatively scheduled for August 2026…
The Digital Trust Alliance, initiated and launched on August 18, 2025, by the Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department - A05 ( Ministry of Public Security ).
