In recent days, the atmosphere of preparation at schools and tutoring centers in An Giang has been very urgent and serious. Many students have expressed confidence and readiness to conquer the exam. Dang Nhut Quang, a 12th-grade student at Long Xuyen High School, shared: “We have been guided by our teachers and familiarized ourselves with the new exam structure early on, so we are not too worried. My classmates and I have spent time reviewing thoroughly, especially the combined subjects. I believe that thorough preparation will bring good results.”

Besides reviewing knowledge, students are also equipped with test-taking skills and a strong mindset to cope with pressure. Many schools have organized psychological counseling sessions, guiding students on effective time management and maintaining health during the final preparation period. “I spend most of my day reviewing my knowledge, especially the parts that have been adjusted in the new curriculum. We also regularly take mock exams organized by the school and find more sample exams online to get used to time pressure and new question types. Mastering basic knowledge and practicing test-taking skills is extremely important,” added Nhut Quang.

Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy encourages 12th-grade students of Binh My High School before the exam.

Behind the efforts of the students is the unwavering support of their parents. More than anyone else, they understand the anxieties and pressures their children are experiencing. Ms. Thu Uyen (residing in My Xuyen ward, Long Xuyen city) shared: “My family always tries to create the best conditions for my child to prepare for the exam, from preparing nutritious meals to reminding her to go to bed on time. Seeing my child study so diligently, I feel sorry for her, but also very proud. I hope she does well in the exam and achieves her aspirations.”

Many other parents also expressed confidence in their children's abilities and hoped for a smooth exam. They believe that, regardless of the outcome, the efforts and experiences gained during this journey will be valuable assets for their children in the future. "To give my child more self-study materials to improve their knowledge at home, I proactively searched for and purchased sample exam papers online. I ordered four sets of sample exam papers with solutions, each costing 200,000 VND, hoping it will help my child consolidate their knowledge and become familiar with more types of questions," said Mr. Thanh Sang (resident of My Xuyen ward).

Regarding the province's preparations, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training Nguyen Quoc Khanh said that, according to reports from schools, to date, support has been provided to 925 disadvantaged students and 74 ethnic minority students participating in the 2025 High School Graduation Examination, with a total cash amount of over 205 million VND. In addition, schools have mobilized philanthropists and socio-political organizations to provide lunch, pastries, drinks, and rest areas for students in need, helping them to have time to review and prepare well for the exams.

Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province, Ho Van Mung, requested that departments, agencies, and localities proactively coordinate closely and develop detailed plans for each stage, from ensuring exam security, invigilation, and marking, to ensuring facilities and equipment at examination sites. Localities should have plans to provide maximum support to candidates, parents, invigilators, and examiners regarding food, accommodation, and transportation, and promptly address any unexpected situations, so that the exam truly becomes a "great festival" for the candidates.
