Mr. Dang Ngoc Hong, from Hamlet 13, Khanh An Commune, shared: "Having been attached to the U Minh region for over 20 years, banana trees, honey, and many other agricultural products grown on the forest land have helped me and many other households have a stable life and become relatively wealthy."

Furthermore, thanks to its abundant natural resources, the melaleuca forest area has become an attractive tourist destination for visitors from both within and outside the province. Events such as the "Fragrance of U Minh Forest ," marathon races through the forest, experiences of catching freshwater fish, and demonstrations of pond photography create a novel yet familiar glimpse into the lifestyle of our ancestors, thus captivating tourists visiting Ca Mau .
