Information technology students "program" their thinking to master AI.

(NLĐO) - Experts at the "AI Technology" event shared many hidden aspects related to the information technology industry, surprising many students.

On the morning of April 17th, Cao Thang Technical College (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) organized an "AI Technology" event, attracting a large number of students, lecturers, experts, and partner businesses in the field of information technology.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Doan Minh Duc, administrator of the Tinhte.vn science and technology forum, argued that instead of abusing AI everywhere and living in constant fear that AI will replace humans, students should "program" their thinking to master technology and AI while still in school.

"AI is a powerful tool to assist in programming steps, and we are the ones who understand the nature and logic of programming. Leaving programming work entirely to AI carries serious risks," Mr. Duc stated.

Mr. Duc gave advice to information technology students when programming with AI.

Many students were surprised by the flaws in AI programming.

Experts argue that even the smallest features created by AI can be complex and difficult to control. Furthermore, AI is simply a tool that generates results based on data; it cannot replace human thinking, judgment, and especially the carefulness required to protect systems.

"Trying to speed up the process by using multiple tokens can lead to serious security consequences, specifically wiping out all the money in a programmer's bank account," Mr. Duc warned.

On this occasion, Cao Thang Technical College signed a cooperation agreement with NVIDIA Vietnam - a leading corporation in AI technology. The goal is to support educational development, improve the quality of teaching and learning; sponsor the school's information technology events; and promote connections between education and business practices.

Dr. Le Dinh Kha, Principal of Cao Thang Technical College, stated: "The school aims to effectively enhance the application of AI in the training process. This includes improving the quality of teaching and learning, updating training programs to closely match the practical needs of businesses, especially focusing on developing digital skills and AI application abilities for students, and further strengthening close links with the business community."
