The Hanoi Department of Education and Training stated that after receiving information about the incident, they promptly dispatched an inspection team to work with relevant parties to find a solution that ensures the rights of the students are protected.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training has ordered To Hien Thanh High School to apologize to the parents of the students.

The plan being considered is to transfer all 10th-grade students from To Hien Thanh High School to Van Lang High School (Dong Da District). To ensure suitable learning conditions for students at the new school, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training has also requested a review and reassessment of Van Lang High School's 10th-grade admission requirements.

Previously, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training requested To Hien Thanh High School to organize a meeting between all parties involved, including the school, the Supervisory Board, 174 parents, and Van Lang High School, to agree on a solution that ensures 100% parental consent. The Department also requested the school to apologize to the parents for the irregularities in the 10th grade admissions process, which was conducted without the permission of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training.

For parents who wish to transfer their children to another school, the school must provide guidance and facilitate the transfer in accordance with regulations, and absolutely must not force parents to do so.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training also requested that the current tuition fees of To Hien Thanh High School and the projected tuition fees for the next two years of Van Lang High School be fully disclosed to parents. In cases where other fees (besides tuition) have been collected, To Hien Thanh High School must refund them to parents.
