Previously, on June 22nd, the Department of Education and Training announced that it had received a report from Victory School regarding the cancellation of the admission results for students who took the entrance exam for 10th grade in the 2024-2025 school year. According to the report, on May 28th, NML students participated in the school's entrance exam for 10th grade. Two days later, the school issued a notice regarding the enrollment procedures for 10th grade, stating that admitted students needed to pay one month's tuition and meal fees (4,500,000 VND) before 4 PM on June 8th to confirm their enrollment.

This morning, June 24th, the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province issued a document requesting Victory School to consider the wishes of students and their families, creating conditions for students to complete the enrollment procedures to ensure the rights of learners in cases where students registered to participate in the aptitude test for grade 10 and were admitted but were late in paying tuition fees.

According to the Department of Education and Training, Victory School operates in accordance with Circular No. 40/2021 of the Minister of Education and Training. The school is autonomous and responsible for mobilizing, utilizing, and managing resources to achieve its educational goals; at the same time, it performs its duties and exercises its powers as stipulated in the regulations of primary schools; junior high schools, high schools, and multi-level general education schools.

In practice, problems arise, and schools need to have appropriate, reasonable, and educational solutions that meet students' learning needs within the school's authority and capabilities, while still ensuring compliance with state and industry regulations.

Regarding the cancellation of 10th-grade admission results due to a two-day delay in tuition payment, the school asserts that it has fulfilled all its responsibilities.

Mr. Nguyen Hoa Nam, Principal of Victory School, stated that the school canceled L.'s admission results in accordance with the issued admission notice to ensure fairness and transparency in the admissions process; he also requested the Dak Lak Provincial Department of Education and Training to review the matter, as the school had fulfilled all its responsibilities to the admitted student.

Previously, as reported by Dan Viet , Mr. Nguyen Quang T. (residing in Hanoi ), the parent of female student L. (9A1 class, Victory School), submitted a petition to the school regarding the cancellation of her admission results to the 10th grade. Mr. T. stated that L. had studied at Victory School from the 2nd grade until now. Recently, L. took her junior high school graduation exam at the school and was notified by the school that she had been admitted to the 10th grade.

However, due to circumstances, Mr. T. only paid the tuition fee on June 10th (two days late), and then received news that the school had canceled L.'s admission.
