Preliminary round of the "Hanoi Trade Union - Journey of Construction and Development" competition.

Cluster No. 5 of the Hanoi City Federation of Labor Unions comprises the Labor Unions of the districts of Chuong My, Thanh Oai, Phu Xuyen, Thuong Tin, Ung Hoa, and My Duc.

In his opening remarks at the competition, Nguyen Hop Tien, Chairman of the Trade Union Federation of Chuong My District and Head of Emulation Cluster No. 5 of the Hanoi City Trade Union Federation, stated that the competition "Hanoi Trade Union - Journey of Construction and Development" aims to widely publicize the glorious traditions of the working class and the Vietnamese Trade Union organization, as well as the journey of construction and development of the Hanoi Trade Union.

Leaders of the Hanoi City Federation of Labor and Chuong My District presented commemorative flags to the participating teams.

The competition is a widespread mass cultural and artistic activity involving numerous union members, workers, and employees in the cluster of units; demonstrating the increasingly deep and broad development of the cultural and artistic movement in each agency and unit. This contributes to building a healthy cultural and spiritual life. At the same time, it creates a cultural playground, promptly meeting the creative and cultural enjoyment needs of workers and employees.

This activity is also part of a series of events and activities commemorating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2024) and the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hanoi (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024), contributing to building a cultural and spiritual life for workers, encouraging union members, workers, and civil servants to actively participate in emulation movements, and striving to successfully complete the socio -economic tasks of each unit and the city.

The participating teams learned about the history and development of the Vietnam Trade Union.

At the competition, participating teams explored the glorious traditions of the Vietnamese working class and trade union organization; the journey of building and developing the Hanoi Trade Union; the history, thousand-year-old cultural traditions and heroism of Thang Long - Hanoi; and the achievements of the capital city in 70 years of construction and development...

The competing teams clearly demonstrated their composure, intelligence, and talent through their quick thinking in handling situations and answering knowledge-based questions, along with elaborately staged and high-quality artistic performances.

The Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the team from the Thanh Oai District Labor Union.

After competing in the Warm-up, Knowledge, and Emotion rounds, the Thanh Oai District Labor Union team won first prize and will represent Cluster No. 5 in the Final Round of the "Hanoi Trade Union - Journey of Construction and Development" competition organized by the Hanoi City Labor Union in early October. The teams from Chuong My and Thuong Tin District Labor Unions won second prize; third prize went to the teams from My Duc, Ung Hoa, and Phu Xuyen District Labor Unions.
