The "Digital Touchpoint 2026" festival was a lively event.

On May 31st, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, organized the "Digital Touchpoint 2026" event – ​​a training program on artificial intelligence (AI) skills and the popularization of digital signatures among the general public.

This is a series of practical activities to celebrate Vietnam Science , Technology and Innovation Day 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City.

This series of activities strongly affirms Ho Chi Minh City's commitment to building a development model that places people and businesses at the center, as the subjects and driving forces.

This will create a breakthrough in bringing digital skills and AI-based thinking to the grassroots level, promoting the comprehensive development of digital government, digital economy , and digital society in the area.

A large number of people, including students, came to participate in the festival.

The "Digital Touchpoint 2026" event is a concrete step towards realizing the strategic goals of Resolution 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation.

The "Digital Touchpoint 2026" event series equips core personnel with skills in applying AI in administrative management, identifying harmful information and fake news, and protecting personal data.

The event space operates on a visual interactive model, comprising five digital experience stations: the "Digital Citizen" station; the "Digital Party Member" station; the "Digital Economy and Household Business" station; the "Basic Digital Skills" station; and the "Digital Signature" station.

Specifically, the "Digital Citizen" station supports the activation of VNeID accounts at level 2, integrates the "Electronic Health Number," allows users to look up information using the VssID application, and submit applications through the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Citizen application.

The event featured many meaningful activities to implement Ho Chi Minh City's Digital Transformation Program.

The station also organizes authentication, issues free public digital signatures, supports online presence with a “.vn” domain name, and provides free health check-ups for the public.

The "Digital Economy and Household Business" station assists small business owners in opening accounts and issuing VietQR codes for cashless payments.

People are guided to install eTax Mobile to pay taxes electronically, access electronic invoice solutions generated from cash registers, and experience accounting and sales software (MISA, Hilo, Sapo, KiotViet...).

Specifically, small business owners will practice applying AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Canva AI to create prompts for writing advertising text, designing images, and live-streaming sales...

The event attracted many local residents and students.

Beyond simply promoting basic digital skills, the "Digital Touchpoint 2026" event is pioneering in shaping the application of AI in people's daily lives.

The event also focuses on supporting vulnerable groups, the elderly, and business households, ensuring fair, humane, and inclusive access to technology for all segments of the population.
