Song Hye Kyo wins big, Suzy takes the throne at the Blue Dragon Awards

At the end of the awards ceremony, the most prestigious Daesang (grand prize) was awarded to actress Song Hye Kyo - playing Moon Dong Eun, the female lead of the movie "The glory".

The film about the revenge journey of Dong Eun, a victim of school violence, is praised for its attractive, dramatic content and excellent cast.

Previously, Song Hye Kyo received the prestigious Best Actress award at Baeksang 2023 for her excellent acting, breaking her monotonous image on screen.

On stage, the 42-year-old star choked up and expressed her gratitude to the members of the "The Glory" crew, from director Ahn Gil Ho, screenwriter Kim Eun Sook to her co-stars. At the same time, Song Hye Kyo also expressed her gratitude to her mother for always supporting her.

"I don't think I'll have this opportunity again, so this is the first time I want to praise myself. You did well, Hye Kyo," she shared.

Lim Ji Yeon was named in the category of Best Supporting Actress.

In addition, Lim Ji Yeon of “The glory” also received the award for Best Supporting Actress.

Shin Ye Eun - who played Lim Ji Yeon's high school role won the Best New Actress award, but for her role in the movie “Revenge of Others”.

Suzy was crowned Queen of the 2023 Blue Dragon Television Awards.

Winning the Daesang award, Song Hye Kyo regretfully lost the Best Actress award at the 2023 Blue Dragon Drama Awards to her junior Suzy - for her performance in the movie "Anna".

This is considered a big surprise at this year's awards ceremony because previously, most experts and media predicted that the winner in this category would be Song Hye Kyo.

On stage receiving the award, Suzy was happy and thanked her colleagues and fans. In "Anna", Suzy plays the role of a poor, talented girl. Because of her desire to change her life, she accepts to switch identities with Miss Anna and becomes the wife of a tycoon.
