In addition to Google Maps, we can update new information about storm Yagi on media channels and websites to have better storm prevention measures.

New information on the path of typhoon Yagi

At 4:00 a.m. this morning (September 6), the center of the super typhoon was in the northern sea area of the North East Sea, about 200 km east-southeast of Hainan Island (China), and about 620 km southeast of Quang Ninh . YAGI still maintained the strength of a level 16 super typhoon (184-201 km/h), gusting over level 17. In the past hours, the storm has been moving rapidly westward at a speed of 20 km/h.

International and Vietnamese meteorological stations agree that the most likely scenario is that the storm will enter the north of Hainan Island, move north of the Gulf of Tonkin, and then make landfall in the Hai Phong - Quang Ninh area of Vietnam around the morning of September 7.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that in the next 24 hours (from 4:00 a.m. on September 6), the storm will move west-northwest at a speed of 15-20 km/h, passing Hainan Island and entering the Gulf of Tonkin tonight.
