The commune chairman has been temporarily suspended for land-related violations.

On April 5th, information from the Bao Lam District Party Committee ( Lam Dong province) indicated that the committee had issued Decision No. 1227-CV/HU directing the District People's Committee to temporarily suspend the Chairman of the Loc Thanh Commune People's Committee and the commune's Land and Construction official from their duties, in order to clarify their responsibilities in state management of land and construction order.

The decision clearly states the reason: Mr. Do Ngoc Can (Chairman of the People's Committee of Loc Thanh Commune) is temporarily suspended from his duties for 15 days to review his responsibility as the head of the agency in the state management of land and construction order, due to the construction of several detached houses that do not conform to the construction plan in area 10A, Loc Thanh Commune.

During his temporary suspension from duty, Mr. Do Ngoc Can is responsible for coordinating with relevant authorities to clarify issues related to state management of land and construction order in Loc Thanh commune.

Mr. Tran Ngoc Hoan (Land and Construction official of Loc Thanh commune) has been temporarily suspended from his duties for 15 days pending an assessment of his responsibility in state management of land and construction order, due to the construction of several detached houses that did not conform to the construction plan in area 10A, Loc Thanh commune.

During his temporary suspension from duty, Mr. Tran Ngoc Hoan is responsible for coordinating with relevant authorities to clarify issues related to state management of construction and land use in the commune.

The items are currently being completed.

The Bao Lam District Party Committee also requested the District People's Committee to direct the district's functional departments to inspect the state management of the 22 illegally constructed townhouses in Hamlet 10A, Loc Thanh Commune.

According to a report from the People's Committee of Loc Thanh commune to the People's Committee of Bao Lam district, these 22 villas are registered under the names of several individuals who hired Mr. Doan Tri Khoa to manage and oversee the construction.

According to this report, the relevant land use right certificates have now been converted to rural residential land.

However, all of the aforementioned construction projects have not been licensed by the competent authorities as required by law. Since the commencement of these projects, the People's Committee of Loc Thanh commune has repeatedly received complaints from local residents.

All 22 villas allegedly built in the aforementioned area do not conform to the construction plan in Hamlet 10A, Loc Thanh Commune (Bao Lam District).

According to Mr. Do Ngoc Can, Chairman of the People's Committee of Loc Thanh commune - who has just been temporarily suspended from his duties, all 22 construction projects mentioned above are in violation of regulations as they were built without permits.

Since discovering the unauthorized constructions, the People's Committee of the commune has repeatedly issued notices demanding a halt to the construction. However, during these efforts, the landowners have consistently evaded cooperation.
