On the morning of December 7th, confirming to the press, Mr. Giang Tuan Anh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Son Duong District ( Tuyen Quang ), stated that Decision No. 7710 had been issued to temporarily suspend Mr. Tran Duy Sang, Principal of Van Phu Secondary School (Van Phu Commune, Son Duong District), from his position and duties for 15 days to facilitate the verification and clarification of matters related to the school's teacher management.

Van Phu Secondary School is where the incident occurred in which female music teacher Phan Thi H. was verbally abused and pushed against a wall by a student who challenged her.
On December 6th, at the regular government press conference for November, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Hoang Minh Son stated that this was a very serious incident involving unacceptable behavior.
"The Provincial People's Committee has directed the Department of Education and Training and the school to first clarify the causes and responsibilities of all relevant parties objectively and thoroughly. Based on that, measures must be taken to strictly address the issues, determining the responsibilities of the teachers, the school, the school leadership, the students, and the parents. A comprehensive review is necessary to resolve the problems, rectify the situation, and draw profound lessons from this experience," said Mr. Hoang Minh Son.
Quick update at 12 PM on December 9th: Female teacher who was attacked by students with sandals had previously been disciplined and is being considered for a transfer to another school.
Previously, as Thanh Nien newspaper reported, at around 10:30 AM on November 29th, at Van Phu Secondary School, during the third music lesson for class 7C, teacher Phan Thi H. entered the classroom but some students were still outside and had not yet come in to teach.
When Ms. H. reminded them of the rules, some students reacted negatively. A short while later, some students asked to leave the classroom, but Ms. H. refused. After that, misunderstandings arose between the teacher and the students during class.
After finishing the third lesson of class 7C, Ms. H. went to teach the fourth lesson in class 6A. Following the lesson, some students from class 7C went to class 6A and continued to make inappropriate remarks and behave improperly towards Ms. H. (using foul language, insulting the teacher, recording videos and posting them on Facebook).
Upon receiving information about the incident, the District People's Committee directed the Department of Education and Training to take the lead in coordinating with the Department of Internal Affairs, the District Police, and other relevant agencies to investigate, verify, and resolve the matter, and report back in accordance with regulations.

By November 30th, the Department of Education and Training, the Son Duong District Police, and other relevant agencies had worked with and requested Van Phu Secondary School to hold a review meeting to clarify the responsibilities of teachers and students and propose disciplinary measures in accordance with regulations.
On the same day, Van Phu Secondary School held a meeting of the school's leadership board to review and resolve the incident; they also organized a meeting of all teachers and parents of students in classes 7C and 6A to inform parents to cooperate with the school in educating students' morals and preventing such incidents from happening again.
On December 1st and 2nd, Van Phu Secondary School held a meeting, requesting the teachers and students involved to write reports detailing the incident and clearly identifying the extent of the violations as a basis for considering and resolving the matter according to regulations.
On December 5th, Ms. Pham Thi Nhi Binh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Son Duong District, personally visited Van Phu Secondary School to direct the school to review and resolve the incident. She also directed the Department of Internal Affairs, the Department of Education and Training, and the District Police to coordinate with relevant agencies to instruct the school to continue investigating, verifying, resolving, and considering proposed disciplinary actions against the relevant individuals and groups, ensuring strict adherence to regulations.
