Suspend electronic tax systems.

The Tax Department has just issued Notice No. 418/TB-CT regarding the temporary suspension of electronic tax systems to facilitate the upgrading of information technology systems, meet the requirements for restructuring tax agencies according to the two-tiered local government model, and implement some new tax regulations.

Accordingly, a number of systems will be temporarily suspended for upgrades and application migration, including: the Tax Department's electronic portal, the electronic invoice portal, the eTax application, iCanhan, eTax Mobile, the electronic invoice system, the internal tax management system, and portals serving communication with external units such as DataHub/GIP/T2B.

The upgrade is being implemented based on resolutions, decrees, and circulars related to the reorganization of commune-level and provincial-level administrative units and the reform of tax management processes. During this period, tax administrative procedures will be received through the one-stop service center or by post; however, service disruptions and delays in processing and delivering results may occur.

This suspension will take effect from July 1, 2025.
