Suspend electronic tax systems

The Tax Department has just issued Notice No. 418/TB-CT on the temporary suspension of electronic tax systems to serve the upgrading of information technology systems, meet the requirements of arranging tax agencies according to the two-level local government model and implement a number of new tax regulations.

Accordingly, a series of systems will be temporarily suspended to upgrade and convert applications such as: Electronic information portal of the Tax Department, Electronic invoice information portal, eTax application, iCanhan, eTax Mobile, electronic invoice system, internal tax management system, and information portals serving exchanges with external units such as DataHub/GIP/T2B.

The upgrade is carried out on the basis of resolutions, decrees and circulars related to the arrangement of administrative units at commune and provincial levels and the innovation of tax management processes. During this period, tax administrative procedures will be received through the one-stop shop or by post, however, there may be service interruptions and delays in processing and returning results.

The tax authority hopes to receive the understanding of taxpayers during the implementation process. This suspension is effective from July 1, 2025.
