Her love for naval soldiers became the catalyst that led Ms. Sam to a military career. From the day she married Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Giang Nam (February 1999), the image of a naval soldier and the military environment gradually became familiar, prompting her to choose to wear the military uniform. In June 1999, she was officially recruited into the Long-Range Maritime Surveillance Radar Center, Naval Command Headquarters, as a cook. In 2006, she took on the role of kitchen manager and head chef and was transferred to the non-commissioned officer (NCO) status. From the end of 2020, she was transferred to Brigade 972. For Major Vu Thi Hanh Sam, each stage of her career has been a valuable experience, nurturing her love for the profession and her unwavering dedication. This sense of responsibility is clearly demonstrated in her daily work at the unit. In her role as guesthouse manager, she proactively prepared the facilities, ensuring a warm and welcoming reception for visiting delegations and superiors.
