Strengthening waste prevention in public asset management

On the afternoon of September 25, under the chairmanship of National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man , the National Assembly Standing Committee gave opinions on the proposed 2026 Audit Plan, 2025 work report and the State Audit's term work report.

At the meeting, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man suggested focusing on developing a medium-term audit plan for 2026 - 2028. Reviewing the law to supplement regulations on responsibilities for preventing corruption, waste, and negativity. The National Assembly Chairman also suggested strengthening supervision and preventing corruption and waste in public financial management.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man suggested: "Special attention should be paid to detecting serious violations in the handling of public assets in 2024-2025. This has been done, so we must pay attention in 2026. Ensure transparency, publicity, and urge the implementation of audit recommendations. Many audits have been conducted in the past, but post-audit there have been no sanctions solutions."

This afternoon, the National Assembly Standing Committee passed a Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee promulgating the Regulations on organization and operation of the Jury, effective from October 1, 2025.
