The funeral of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong was held according to the State funeral protocol.

The funeral of Comrade Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, was held under the National Mourning rites. During the two days of National Mourning (July 25 and 26), agencies, offices, and public places will fly flags at half-mast and no public entertainment activities will be organized.

The funeral of Comrade Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, was held according to State funeral protocol.

Comrade Nguyen Phu Trong's coffin was laid to rest at the National Funeral Home No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi city.

The funeral of comrade Nguyen Phu Trong will be held at the National Funeral Home No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi, starting from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on July 25, 2024 and from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on July 26, 2024.

The memorial service for comrade Nguyen Phu Trong will be held at 1:00 p.m. on July 26, 2024 at the National Funeral Home No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi.

Funeral at 3:00 p.m. the same day at Mai Dich Cemetery, Hanoi city.

The visitation and memorial service for comrade Nguyen Phu Trong will be held at the same time at Thong Nhat Hall, Ho Chi Minh City and at his hometown in Dong Hoi commune, Dong Anh district, Hanoi city.

Vietnam Television and Voice of Vietnam will broadcast live the funeral, memorial service and burial ceremony of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
