Giving Tet gifts to orphaned children.

(CTO) - The Can Tho City Social Work Center presented 100 Tet gifts to orphaned children being cared for at the center, orphaned children at Buu Tri Pagoda, the charity class in Area 3, Song Hau, and the Street Children's Club.

On the evening of February 12th, the Can Tho City Social Work Center organized a Spring Gathering Program for the Year of the Horse 2026, themed "Spring of Love - Tet Reunion," to present Tet gifts to orphaned children in difficult circumstances in the city.

Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan, Deputy Director of the Can Tho City Department of Health, presents gifts to orphaned children being cared for at the Can Tho City Social Work Center.

Children at the Street Children's Club receive Tet gifts from the Can Tho City Social Work Center.

At the event, the Can Tho City Social Work Center presented 100 Tet gifts to orphaned children being cared for at the Center, the Buu Tri Pagoda orphanage, the charity class in Area 3, Song Hau, and the Street Children's Club. The children also participated in various fun activities, cultural exchanges, and lion dance performances, creating a warm, joyful, and exciting atmosphere before the New Year.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Can Tho City donated 80 million VND to the Can Tho City Social Work Center to organize activities to celebrate the Lunar New Year and care for children at the center.
