From that foundation, our country aims for a growth rate of 10% or higher in 2026 and subsequent years. This high target reflects the great aspirations of our nation, creating the momentum and strength to realize the vision of becoming a developed, high-income country by 2045, for a peaceful , independent, democratic, prosperous, civilized, and happy Vietnam, steadily advancing towards socialism.
The 14th National Congress of the Party was a resounding success, creating a new momentum and strengthening the confidence of the entire Party, people, and army in a period of breakthrough development and a bright future for the country. The resolutions of the 14th National Congress not only clearly defined the major orientations, strategic goals, and key tasks of the country in the new period, but also served as a mandate for action, prompting the entire political system to immediately begin implementing them with decisiveness and urgency, through concrete actions.
To realize the noble goals outlined in the resolution, it is necessary to accelerate labor, production, and task implementation right from the beginning of the year. Even during this Tet holiday, to avoid delays, many construction sites and factories across the country continued working throughout the holiday. Workers in specialized industries remained diligent in their work. Officers and soldiers of the armed forces were on duty 24/7 to protect the Fatherland and maintain peace for the people. Officials and civil servants need to abandon the habit of lingering and indulging in excessive New Year celebrations and focus on work from the very first working day after the holiday. It is necessary to quickly identify and resolve obstacles and inconsistencies in laws, regulations, and administrative procedures to better serve the people and businesses. The entire political system needs to focus on thorough preparation to ensure the success of the upcoming elections for the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, creating a foundation for building the state apparatus in the new term.
