Busy installing guardrails on Van Ninh highway

The Van Ninh - Cam Lo expressway construction site is bustling with the sound of machinery. Many construction teams are actively installing guardrails and fences on both sides of the route as well as anti-glare nets on the median strip... to ensure the route is open on June 30.

The North-South Expressway project, Van Ninh - Cam Lo section, has a total length of more than 65.5km, of which the section through Quang Binh province is more than 33km, passing through Quang Ninh and Le Thuy districts; the section through Quang Tri province is more than 32.5km, passing through Vinh Linh, Gio Linh and Cam Lo districts.

The project has 2 construction packages, of which construction package XL1 (Km 675+400 - Km 708+350) is located in Quang Binh province, constructed by the joint venture of Truong Thinh Group Joint Stock Company - Truong Son Construction Corporation - Construction Joint Stock Company 368.

Construction package XL2 (Km 708+350 - Km 740+884) is located in Quang Tri province, constructed by a joint venture of Truong Thinh Group Joint Stock Company - Construction Transport Joint Stock Company No. 1 - Railway Construction Corporation Joint Stock Company.

The section north of An Ma irrigation lake (Le Thuy district, Quang Binh) has installed guardrails and is installing a median strip; the high slope has been reinforced with concrete.

The project started on January 1, 2023 and was completed in December 2025 (the adjusted schedule strives to complete in June 2025). The project's construction output to date has reached about 78%.

Currently, contractors are taking advantage of favorable weather to deploy a series of construction projects, organizing construction in "3 shifts, 4 teams", striving to basically complete the main route's traffic on June 30.
