According to the document, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City requested all educational institutions in the city to proactively limit the formal decoration with fresh flowers in stages, podiums, school gates, etc. Only use flowers in places that are truly necessary to create highlights, ensuring aesthetics but not ostentatious or wasteful.
“The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training does not accept congratulatory flowers in any form from agencies, organizations, businesses, parents and individuals attending and congratulating the Opening Ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year. Units need to proactively and widely announce this policy to partners and parents in many forms such as documents, announcements on websites, bulletin boards, and social networks,” the document clearly stated.
In addition, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City also launched a campaign to support flood victims. Accordingly, to accompany and share the difficulties of people in provinces and cities affected by storms No. 4 and No. 5, the Department requested educational institutions in the city to launch a campaign to support flood victims; guide and encourage units and individuals to convert the form of congratulations into contributions to the school's scholarship fund or join hands to support people.
“The Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City hopes that agencies, units, organizations and individuals will continue to support and assist people affected by floods caused by storms No. 4 and No. 5,” the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City shared.
