On September 7, Mr. Tran Xuan Tay - Chairman of Nha Trang Ward People's Committee said that the ward has drawn up an administrative violation record against Khanh Anh Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company for construction on an exploited road without arranging warning signs, mobile markers, and barriers as prescribed. This is the contractor unit that is constructing the Project of Upgrading, renovating sidewalks and constructing new underground technical infrastructure works for shared use on Le Thanh Ton Street (Nha Trang Ward).

Previously, at around 1 a.m. on September 5, a motorcyclist slipped and fell while crossing a technical trench on Le Thanh Ton Street, was injured and had to be taken to Khanh Hoa General Hospital for emergency treatment. The technical trench on this road had underground infrastructure systems installed, but the construction unit had not paved it yet, so it was still uneven and too deep compared to the road surface, and there were no warning signs, which posed a danger to road users. Not only this victim, many other people also fell while traveling on Le Thanh Ton Street due to the contractor's negligence in construction. Among them, there were cases of motorbike riders falling and scratching their hands, cars scraping the radiator, electric taxis scraping the battery... Although the People's Committee of Nha Trang Ward had repeatedly requested Khanh Anh Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company to arrange warning signs and have solutions to ensure safety for road users, this unit did not fully comply.

Previously, on August 29, Khanh Hoa Newspaper published an article titled “Clutter on Le Thanh Ton Street”, reflecting on the slow progress of the Project to Upgrade, Renovate Sidewalks and Build New Underground Infrastructure Works Sharing Le Thanh Ton Street. According to the contract, the project will be completed on August 20, 2025, but to date, the construction site is still cluttered with machinery, materials, and debris, causing loss of urban beauty and not ensuring traffic safety.
