*On the evening of February 2nd, Phu Cuong Trading - Service - Tourism Joint Stock Company, in coordination with Phu Cuong - Kien Cuong Seafood Company Limited, organized the charitable program "Spring of Love," distributing 400 Tet gifts to disadvantaged people in An Xuyen and Tan Thanh wards.

Attending the program were Mr. Lu Quang Ngoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province; Mr. Nguyen Viet Cuong, Labor Hero and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Phu Cuong Group; along with leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province, the Provincial Police, representatives of local authorities, and Phu Cuong - Kien Cuong Group.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Mai, General Director of Phu Cuong Trading - Service - Tourism Joint Stock Company, said that on the occasion of the 2026 Lunar New Year, two units under the Phu Cuong Group implemented the "Spring of Love" program, giving a total of 1,100 Tet gifts, worth 1.1 billion VND, to people in difficult circumstances in Ca Mau province.

Specifically, 200 gifts were distributed by Phu Cuong - Kien Cuong Seafood Company Limited at noon on the same day; 400 gifts were distributed directly at the program this evening; and the remaining 500 gifts were distributed by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province in coordination with other organizations to disadvantaged households in remote areas of the province.

"Spring of Love" is a charitable program that Phu Cuong Group has maintained annually for many years during the Lunar New Year season, demonstrating the spirit of mutual support, sharing responsibility with the community, and spreading positive human values ​​in society.

Deeply moved upon receiving Tet gifts, Mrs. To My Hang (65 years old), residing in Cay Tram hamlet, Tan Thanh ward, shared that her family's circumstances are still difficult, she is frequently ill, and her elderly husband earns a living as a freelance worker. These thoughtful gifts during Tet are a great source of encouragement, helping her family have a warmer and more fulfilling Tet celebration.

*In Tam Giang commune, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, Colonel Ho Viet Trieu, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Director of the Provincial Police, presented Tet gifts to people in difficult circumstances in the commune.

Speaking at the program, Colonel Ho Viet Trieu cordially inquired about and shared the difficulties faced by poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households; and affirmed the deep concern of the Provincial Party Committee and the government at all levels for social welfare work and caring for the lives of the people, especially during the Lunar New Year.

At the event, Colonel Ho Viet Trieu personally presented 100 gift packages, including essential necessities and cash, to 100 poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households in Tam Giang commune, totaling 100 million VND.

*Later that same day, the People's Committee of Vinh Thanh commune, in coordination with Agribank Phuoc Long Branch, organized the distribution of 40 Tet gifts to disadvantaged households in the commune, each gift worth 500,000 VND.

To ensure that all citizens can celebrate Tet (Lunar New Year) fully and warmly, especially policy beneficiary households, poor and near-poor households, in addition to the 1,000 gift packages supported by the province, Vinh Thanh commune has also actively mobilized benefactors to donate an additional 1,000 Tet gift packages to policy beneficiary households, poor and near-poor households, village militia leaders and local security forces, etc., each package worth from 300,000 to 700,000 VND.

In addition, the Vinh Thanh Commune Youth Union organized the awarding of 10 gifts to disadvantaged students at the weekly flag-raising ceremony of Hung Phu Secondary School, each gift worth 500,000 VND. This activity is part of the "Lottery of Love" model launched and implemented by the Commune Youth Union for one month, with the goal of supporting 10 disadvantaged children and students in the commune each month from the funds raised through lottery ticket sales by the Youth Union.

On this occasion, the Vinh Thanh Commune Youth Union also provided support to two orphaned children in the commune due to the Covid-19 pandemic, giving each child 1.5 million VND. These children have been sponsored by the Commune Youth Union since 2021 and will continue to receive support until they reach the age of 18.
