The traditional Vietnamese Tet holiday has undergone many changes over time, but whether simplified or modernized, Vietnamese people still preserve traditional dishes passed down through generations. Besides banh tet, banh chung (green sticky rice cake), and pickled onions, the tray of candied fruits and sweets is also an indispensable "snack."
