People participate in the Bai Choi Festival within the framework of the "Solidarity Tet" program in An Dong ward.

Taking place on January 24 and 25, the program "Tet Doan Ket" with the theme "Identity - Warmth - Spreading love" organized by An Dong ward created a bustling and meaningful atmosphere to welcome the traditional Tet of the nation. Along with the songs and singing with the sound of spring, the contest of wrapping and cooking banh chung and banh tet; making traditional Hue jam; space to experience folk games; lottery program to raise funds for the poor... brought a joyful and exciting atmosphere to the people in the area.

Through the program, nearly 400 Tet gifts worth nearly 120 million VND were given to poor households, near-poor households, households that have just escaped poverty and people in difficult circumstances, contributing to sharing difficulties and bringing joy to people during the coming Tet holiday. Products participating in the contest, such as: banh chung, banh tet, ginger jam... were also given to families in difficult circumstances.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy, An Dong Ward shared: “Participating in the Bai Choi festival, experiencing the atmosphere of wrapping Chung cakes, making ginger jam and Hue cakes right in the ward headquarters with the people in the group makes me feel very happy. The Tet atmosphere seems to come earlier and more meaningful.”

Previously, Phuong Duc ward organized the program "Solidarity Tet 2025" with many exciting and meaningful activities, such as: Experiencing Thanh Tien paper flower making, organizing a space to experience folk games, a contest to display Tet fruit trays and giving "Spring gifts of love"...

At the program "Spring Gifts of Love", the ward presented 5 gifts, each worth 2.5 million VND from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thuan Hoa district to families in difficult circumstances; presented 172 gifts worth 50.6 million VND from organizations, individuals, sponsors and products from competitions in the program such as banh chung, banh tet, ginger jam... to policy families, near-poor and disadvantaged households in the ward.

Starting from January 17 with the first unit being An Tay ward, the program "Tet Doan Ket" with contents imbued with traditional cultural identity and Tet flavor, such as: Contest of wrapping and cooking banh chung, banh tet, jam and traditional local products; organizing culinary space; space to perform local specialties on Tet holiday; folk games; experiential activities for children, students... brought a meaningful traditional Tet atmosphere. Through the program, the Ward Fronts advised the Party Committee, coordinated with the government, member organizations at the same level and mobilized and connected charitable organizations and individuals, drawing from the "For the Poor" Fund to give gifts to poor households, near-poor households, households in especially difficult circumstances, and at the same time organized the program "Spring Gifts of Love", "Mutual Love and Mutual Support Booth"...; contributing to implementing social security, supporting the poor.

According to Vice Chairman of Thuan Hoa District People's Committee, Mr. Truong Dinh Hanh, with the theme "Identity - Warmth - Spreading love", the program "Tet Doan Ket" aims to preserve and promote good traditional cultural values ​​during the traditional Tet holiday; promote the tradition of mutual love and affection of the nation, create a joyful and exciting atmosphere to welcome the Lunar New Year of At Ty; at the same time, promote patriotic emulation movements associated with the requirement to effectively implement the goals and tasks of socio -economic development, ensuring national defense and security; mobilize and connect the participation and support of charitable organizations and individuals to join hands to help poor, near-poor households, and disadvantaged policy households in Thuan Hoa district.

Through the program, thousands of gifts and contest products were given to poor, near-poor households and families in difficult circumstances in the area, bringing joy and sharing difficulties to families on the occasion of Tet holiday.
