Maintain a smooth and secure flow of information.
The 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam is a political event of special significance, attracting the attention of the entire Party, the entire nation, and international friends. To serve the Congress, the task of ensuring smooth, secure, and absolutely stable communication is being implemented at the highest level by telecommunications and postal units, with a spirit of proactiveness, responsibility, and absolute accuracy.
Throughout the Congress, telecommunications and postal enterprises and the Central Post Office ( Ministry of Science and Technology ) mobilized maximum resources, developed numerous technical backup plans, and applied modern technology to ensure the entire communication system operated continuously and without interruption, meeting the requirements for direction, management, and journalistic work.
At the Press Center serving the 14th National Congress, the technical infrastructure has been comprehensively invested in, including a high-speed internet connection, more than 150 desktop and laptop computers, and supporting equipment such as printers, fax machines, and large screens. Thanks to this, domestic and international press agencies have favorable conditions to transmit information about the Congress quickly, accurately, and in a timely manner.
According to Mr. Hoang Van Tien, a technical staff member of the Central Post Office, preparations for the Congress had begun very early, with high demands for stability, safety, and security. "We determined that even a small incident could affect overall communication, so all stages were continuously checked and monitored," Mr. Tien shared.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Thuy, Deputy Director of Post Office CP16, Central Post Office Department, the entire information system serving the Congress was deployed for two Press Center areas with approximately 600 network nodes, 20 dedicated telephones, and numerous backup plans. More than 110 officials and technicians were mobilized and assigned to work 24/7.
“Preparations began nearly a year before the Congress and were carried out directly at the National Convention Center for more than a month. What we are pleased about is that the system has been operating stably and has been highly appreciated by the press and reporters,” said Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Thuy.
Alongside ensuring technical infrastructure, cybersecurity and information safety were strengthened with a continuous operational monitoring system, promptly detecting and preventing information security risks remotely. This meticulous and discreet preparation contributed to keeping the "information lifeline" of the Congress running smoothly.

Solid security, meticulous logistics.
Along with communication, the work of ensuring absolute security and safety for the 14th National Congress of the Party at the National Convention Center was implemented rigorously, synchronously, and scientifically. Security forces, guards, and police were deployed in multiple layers and levels, maintaining the highest state of readiness.
Reporters working at the Press Center must undergo rigorous security checks; transmitting and receiving equipment is prohibited from entering the work area, and specialized equipment is strictly labeled and managed. This rigorous yet scientific process ensures absolute safety while facilitating journalistic activities.
Reporter Phan Van Tuan from Lao Cai Newspaper, Radio and Television shared: “The security forces not only ensured security for the Congress but also served as an effective bridge between reporters and delegates. When reporters needed to contact them for interviews or delegates wanted to exchange information, they provided very quick support, helping us to work more conveniently and promptly.”

Recognizing this as a particularly important political event, the Hanoi City Police proactively developed and implemented comprehensive plans to ensure security, order, and traffic safety. The police force played a core role in traffic management, regulation, patrolling, and comprehensive control of the area, ensuring smooth and absolutely safe traffic flow.
According to Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung, Director of the Hanoi City Police, the entire Hanoi police force is committed to the highest level of responsibility, implementing tasks proactively from early on and from afar, avoiding passivity and surprise in all situations. Units are carrying out their duties according to the principle of "clear responsibilities, clear tasks, clear accountability," ensuring the highest level of security without affecting the normal lives of the people.
Contributing silently to the success of the Congress was the logistics team providing meals for reporters, officers, and soldiers on duty. Every day, meals were meticulously prepared, nutritious, and scientifically distributed, creating favorable conditions for reporters to work continuously at the Press Center with peace of mind.
Mr. Pham The Hung, representing the logistics department, stated that every step, from menu planning and ensuring food safety and hygiene to service, was meticulously planned to contribute to the health and morale of the personnel on duty throughout the duration of the Congress.
From communication lines and security measures to simple daily meals, all were silent but persistent contributions; contributing to the overall success of the 14th National Congress of the Party, a momentous political event that opened up new expectations for the country's development.
