Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2026 will take place throughout the city, with a focus on several locations such as: Ho Chi Minh City Book Street (Saigon Ward), Vista Verde apartment complex (Cat Lai Ward), Binh Duong Library (Phu Loi Ward), Ba Ria - Vung Tau Museum and Library (Ba Ria Ward), and the Museum in Con Dao Special Zone.
This year's Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day features many activities, such as: organizing reading programs that combine traditional and modern approaches; introducing electronic publishing and digital transformation in publishing; developing reading and writing movements, promoting books, preserving books, and applying knowledge from books to real life... Notably, for the first time, a community reading model is being piloted at Vista Verde apartment complex (Cat Lai ward), opening up a new direction in bringing reading culture into individual households.
