Immediately after securing a convincing victory with his teammates, Nguyen Dong Nang (a student majoring in Business English) – player number 19 of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics team – received a special reward: a sweet kiss from his girlfriend, Pham To Uyen, a business administration student from the same university.

Their love story began with a fateful move. They have been together for over two years now.

A female student from Bao Loc ( Lam Dong province ) fell in love with a male football player from Ho Chi Minh City after helping him move house.

Nguyen Dong Nang, a fourth-year student, not only stands out for his skills on the field but also impresses with his enthusiasm and sincerity. His love story with To Uyen began by chance when Nang helped a friend move house. Uyen, a girl from Bao Loc, was this friend's roommate.

"My first impression was that he was very strong, very good at moving, and very enthusiastic about helping. Later, I found out he was a great football player, so I often went to cheer him on," Uyen shared.

Recalling the day he moved, Dong Neng jokingly said, "Well, it was quite a bargain. Although I didn't gain much, having a pretty girlfriend to cheer me on at every game was fantastic."

Although he didn't score in the match, Dong Nang made an excellent assist that helped his teammate score. Playing with great enthusiasm, Nang said that his biggest motivation was the support from his girlfriend in the stands.

To Uyen always accompanies her boyfriend to all student tournaments.

"I felt very motivated to compete. That's why I ran on the field. Everyone tried their best and achieved the best possible results," Nang shared after the match.

As for Uyen, she readily admitted that she was the one who took the initiative. "He liked my post first, so I asked him out. I was always there to cheer him on during important matches," she recounted with a happy smile.

To Uyen was always the "reason" for Dong Nang to play so energetically on the football field.
