Locals in Dinh Bac village set up large screens to cheer on the Vietnam U23 team.

TPO - Large LED screens along with bright red banners and slogans were erected at the stadium by the Hung Yen Bac 2 hamlet committee (Yen Trung commune, Nghe An province) and local people to "fuel" the Vietnamese U23 team, creating a vibrant atmosphere.

On January 20th, dozens of residents, along with the village committee of Hung Yen Bac 2 hamlet (Yen Trung commune, Nghe An province), gathered to decorate the hamlet's stadium, transforming it into a venue to cheer on the U23 Vietnam team in their semi-final match against U23 China. Many slogans such as "Ignite the spirit of Dinh Bac - Shine brightly for Vietnam," and "Vietnam will win" were prominently displayed, turning the village square into a "cauldron of fire" before kick-off.

The stadium in Hung Yen Bac 2 hamlet (Yen Trung commune) was decorated with banners and slogans to serve as a cheering venue for the semi-final match between Vietnam U23 and China U23.

According to Mr. Dinh Van Hien, an official from the Culture Department of Yen Trung commune, in recent days, people in the area have been closely following the matches of the Vietnamese U23 team. When the team reached the semi-finals, the people were very excited and happy.

To cheer on and inspire the team and player Dinh Bac, the residents of Hung Yen Bac 2 hamlet organized a collective cheering event right at the hamlet's stadium. "This is not only an expression of affection for the U23 Vietnam team but also a special encouragement for Dinh Bac, a son of Hung Yen Bac 2," said Mr. Hien.

Banners and slogans transformed the village stadium into a "cauldron of fire," cheering on the Vietnamese U23 team.

According to Mr. Hien, the work of disseminating information and mobilizing people to participate in cheering has been widely implemented, and integrated with activities celebrating the 14th Party Congress, creating an atmosphere of unity and enthusiasm throughout the commune.

"Witnessing the efforts of Dinh Bac in particular and the entire U23 team in general, we are very happy and proud. Tonight, we will gather in large numbers at the stadium to cheer him on and give him more encouragement so that he can play confidently and give his all for the national flag," said Ms. Hoang Thi Lan.

The stadium has been completed in preparation for tonight's semi-final match on January 20th.

The cheering activities organized not only further fueled the Vietnamese U23 team but also encouraged Dinh Bac to play confidently and dedicate himself to the national team, while creating an atmosphere of excitement leading up to major political events in the country.
