In the letter, the Thanh Ha and Kinh Mon District Police Departments called on all agencies, units, schools, and people in the area to strictly comply with the law on traffic safety and order. They also urged active condemnation, timely detection, and provision of information and images reflecting traffic safety violations, with the motto "every citizen is a traffic police officer."

Traffic police forces of Thanh Ha District Police are stepping up enforcement against traffic safety violations.

When detecting violations such as not wearing a helmet, carrying more passengers than allowed, failing to obey traffic lights, reckless driving, illegal racing, gathering vehicles in groups at high speeds, carrying weapons causing public disorder, illegal parking, entering prohibited roads, etc., citizens should use cameras, personal phones, dashcams, etc., to record information and images along with the date and time of detection, the route and location of the violation, license plate number, vehicle characteristics, and driver's information (if available)... and send them to the Traffic Police and Public Order Team of the district/town police for processing.

In addition, to enhance traffic safety awareness campaigns, the Kinh Mon Town Police have printed and installed 135 vivid visual displays featuring the themes: "Driving at the correct speed and in the correct lane," "Wearing a helmet when riding a motorbike," "Not driving after drinking alcohol," etc., at important intersections, junctions, and densely populated areas. They also printed and distributed 1,000 leaflets on preventing delinquent youth from engaging in public disorder on the streets.

This is an initiative by the Kinh Mon town police and Thanh Ha district police to contribute to ensuring traffic safety in the area.

In the first seven months of 2024, Kinh Mon town experienced 40 traffic accidents and collisions, resulting in 15 deaths and 37 injuries. Thanh Ha district experienced 38 traffic accidents and collisions, resulting in 4 deaths and 33 injuries. These localities saw an increase in accidents across all three criteria compared to the same period in 2023.
