425 community digital technology groups established.

(CT) - Implementing the movement "Can Tho Youth Pioneering in the New Era," from the beginning of 2026 until now, the Standing Committee of the Can Tho City Youth Union has directed all levels of the Youth Union to promote the "Creative Youth" movement with many practical models and activities.

The Can Tho City Youth Union organized a training course on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in communication for its members and young people.

For the "Popular Education in Digital Age" model, the Youth Union at all levels has established 425 community digital technology groups, with nearly 6,600 members. These community digital technology groups have trained digital skills and disseminated information about digital transformation to more than 15,000 people.

In addition, the Youth Union branches organized 30 training courses to enhance digital skills for more than 8,500 members and young people, and implemented the "Digital Space for Children" model in 8 schools. The Youth Union branches in schools organized numerous academic competitions, scientific research contests, and creative startup idea competitions. Through these, students registered to undertake more than 150 scientific research projects and startup ideas/projects.

In the coming period, the Youth Union at all levels will continue to build and maintain many models to support Youth Union members and young people in scientific research and the application of science and technology in production, while also organizing the "Youth Startup Project and Product" competition (expected to take place in the second quarter of 2026).
