The founding congress of the Da Nang City Logistics Association, attended by nearly 100 delegates including leaders from port, aviation, transportation, and warehousing businesses, as well as leading experts in the supply chain field, marks a significant turning point in professionalizing service infrastructure and creating strong linkages to transform the city into a key logistics hub for the region and internationally.

Introducing the first Executive Board of the Da Nang City Logistics Association.
Da Nang City is identified as the socio-economic center of the Central and Central Highlands regions, possessing numerous advantages in geographical location, seaport and airport infrastructure, and inter-regional connectivity. The city is aiming to become a regional logistics hub, linked to the development of the Free Trade Zone and the East-West Economic Corridor. However, the logistics business community in the area remains fragmented, lacking coordination, with uneven competitiveness and no effective representative mechanism to voice a common voice with state management agencies.
"In that context, the Da Nang City Logistics Association was established as a socio-professional organization representing the logistics business community, contributing to promoting linkages, enhancing competitiveness, and developing the city's logistics industry in a modern and sustainable direction," Mr. Tran Le Tuan emphasized.
The Congress heard heartfelt guiding speeches from representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade , the Da Nang Department of Industry and Trade, and the Vietnam Logistics Business Association (VLA). Simultaneously, it voted to approve the Charter and operational plan for the 2026-2031 term of the Da Nang City Logistics Association.

Mr. Tran Le Tuan delivered a speech at the Congress.
The key tasks set out include: Representing the business community and participating in policy making; Promoting linkages between logistics businesses; Enhancing business capacity and developing human resources; Cooperating and promoting digital transformation in logistics; Promoting trade, investment and international cooperation.
In a spirit of democracy and responsibility, the Congress elected the first Executive Committee, consisting of 18 dedicated and visionary businesspeople and experts. Following the first meeting held on the same day, the first Executive Committee elected a Standing Committee of 5 members, Mr. Tran Le Tuan – General Director of Da Nang Port – as Chairman of the Association, along with 4 Vice-Chairmen, 1 Secretary-General, and a Supervisory Board of 3 members.
The Executive Committee of the first term is committed to being a strong bridge between businesses and the government, protecting the legitimate rights of members, and promoting the overall growth of the industry. This event has opened a new chapter for the city's logistics industry, promising spectacular breakthroughs and contributing to Da Nang's economic growth, reaching further on the regional and global logistics map.
