According to Tri Thuc - Znews , CAHN is in the process of negotiating with defender Brandon Ly, a player playing for U21 Burnley. If this deal is successful, Brandon Ly will be the next overseas Vietnamese to join CAHN and the V.League.

The fact that the overseas Vietnamese player born in 2005 joined CAHN is not much of a surprise. Because the police team once shared that the club's orientation is to bring players with Vietnamese blood back to contribute to Vietnamese football. Meanwhile, Brandon Ly has a Vietnamese father and an Irish mother.

Brandon Ly was born in 2005, is 1.72 meters tall and plays mainly as a defensive midfielder. In addition, he can also play as a central midfielder or right-back when necessary, thanks to his ability to read situations and stable physical foundation.

Brandon Ly started his career at Sheffield United's Academy. At the end of November 2023, he was loaned to Burnley's U18 team. In his first start against Birmingham City U18, Brandon Ly had an impressive performance, making an important contribution to Burnley's victory on penalties, thereby advancing to the quarter-finals.

Having proven his ability in the Burnley youth team, Brandon Ly said goodbye to Sheffield United in January 2024 to join Burnley. Here, he was quickly promoted to the U21 team and continued his professional development in the competitive environment of English football.
