Rap Viet contestant makes Karik "afraid" of BigDaddy

(Dan Tri) - Episode 11 of Rap Viet 2024 continues the Breakthrough round with a competition between contestants in groups B and C on the themes of folk songs, proverbs, idioms, and Vietnamese Literature.

Group B in the Breakthrough round has the appearance of 4 members: Dangrangto (BigDaddy's team), RamC (B Ray's team), Lower (Karik's team) and Coldzy (Suboi's team).

As a contestant who received 4 golden hats, Dangrangto returned to the Rap Viet stage, confidently sharing: "No contestant can block my way."

Previously, Dangrangto often brought somewhat edgy music , but in this round, the rapper born in 2002 decided to conquer the audience with a more positive color about effort, trying and fearlessness.

At the competition night, Dangrangto brought two contrasting styles representing his two personalities. After a period of preparation, the disco song with the proverb "don't let go of the oars when the waves are high" attracted great attention from the judges and the audience. MC Tran Thanh predicted that the performance would be on the trending list.

Coach Karik said he felt "afraid" of BigDaddy after watching this performance: "Too smart, why can he be so smart? I didn't think Dangrangto would put bolero in with such a surprising arrangement without losing his energy."

Dangrangto also shared that he returned to this stage to convince the difficult audience and the many mixed opinions about the 4 golden hats he received in the first round.

Dangrangto added: "I want to become a confident star, promising a shining version of Dangrangto Tran La Lut in the future."

As a result of group B, Dangrangto of coach BigDaddy's team convincingly won the ticket to the next round.

Group C with the appearance of contestants Tieu Minh Phung (team B Ray), V# (team BigDaddy), Queen B (team Karik), Saabirose (team Coach Suboi) also received enthusiastic response from the audience.

After a fierce competition, the winner of group C belonged to Queen B - a contestant from coach Karik's team.
