The " Children 's Songs of Peace" music night took place in Nghe An on June 6th, as part of a series of events commemorating 25 years of the "Remembering Trinh Cong Son" journey, continuing from Ho Chi Minh City, Singapore, Ha Tinh , and will continue in Hue, Con Dao… in the near future.
Trinh Cong Son's music about Nghe An
This is the first time the Trinh Cong Son music program, organized by the late musician's family, has "come" to Nghe An - the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh, a place that always reminds us of the great values of the nation: patriotism, compassion, the aspiration for independence and a peaceful world .
"Choosing Nghe An as a stop for the program not only has cultural and artistic significance, but also represents a symbolic encounter between the humanistic spirit in Trinh Cong Son's music and a land rich in historical and revolutionary traditions of Vietnam," a family representative shared.
Many famous artists participated in this event: Cam Van, Thanh Lam, Trong Tan, Duc Tuan, Vo Ha Tram, Ha Le, Kyo York, Quach Thanh Danh, and saxophone artist Tran Manh Tuan.
The " Night of Peaceful Rhymes" was directed by Duc Tri (music director) and hosted by Tung Leo.
According to the family, the concert was designed as a multi-layered artistic space, where Trinh's music not only resonates in memory but also serves as a message for the present and the future. There, familiar melodies become "nursery rhymes" of memory, love, and faith in peace.

In the program, the audience encountered many songs praising peace, the human condition, love, and compassion for the Vietnamese people.
The concert aims to convey a message to the audience: Peace is as beautiful as a natural, poetic folk song, and it is inherent in the identity of every Vietnamese person.
Therefore, this is not just a simple memorial concert for Trinh Cong Son, but also a reminder that amidst the upheavals of the times, people still need to love each other more, listen to each other more, and preserve peace as the most beautiful value of humanity.
The organizers revealed that familiar songs will be re-arranged, portraying Trinh Cong Son not only as a lover of romance, but also as an artist who dedicated his heart to his homeland, to the fate of humanity, and to the dream of a world free from division and hatred.
