According to teachers' assessments, this year's math exam clearly reflects the spirit of the new curriculum: evaluating students' ability to use mathematical knowledge to solve real-life situations. The exam tests a high level of basic knowledge and skills, without being overly challenging. Students only need time to review, practice solving basic math problems well, and complete the exam carefully to easily finish 75% to 80% of the questions. (Photos: Dinh Ha, Viet Huy) |

Best friends Tran Duc Anh (right) and Hua Nam Hai, students at Thanh Tri Secondary School, took the opportunity to discuss the exam questions and answers right at the school gate before leaving. The two boys assessed the exam as being of moderate difficulty, but Duc Anh regretted not getting a score of 9. Nevertheless, after completing this major milestone in their academic journey, both boys felt relieved and their stress was gone. |

Meanwhile, many candidates left the exam room with distraught faces, some even bursting into tears because they didn't perform as well as expected. "The exam was harder than I anticipated," Linh Chi, a student from Den Lu Secondary School, shared, her eyes red after the exam. |

Meanwhile, as soon as she saw her daughter walking out of the exam hall, Ms. Le Thi Kim Dung (Vinh Tuy ward) rushed to hug her. Even without knowing the exam results, the mother gently kissed her daughter's forehead to encourage her after the stressful exam. "You all studied and prepared very hard, so just try your best," Ms. Dung said. Her family had planned a 7-day trip to Nha Trang to celebrate and help her daughter relax after a long period of stress. |

Thus, over 124,000 candidates have completed the entrance exam for non-specialized 10th grade in Hanoi. This year, approximately 56% of junior high school graduates have secured places in 10th grade at public high schools. The remaining students will attend private high schools, vocational training centers, or continuing education centers. Exam scores and expected cut-off scores will be announced between June 19th and 22nd. |
