Cam Khe town invests over 130 billion VND in constructing 34 projects.

Implementing the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas," from 2020 to the present, Cam Khe town, Cam Khe district, has invested over 130 billion VND in constructing 34 projects.

The urban housing area and cultural and sports complex in Cam Khe town are currently under construction.

Specifically, the town has strengthened the mobilization and effective use of resources, investing in the construction of infrastructure criteria for urban planning, transportation, information, culture and sports, health, and education with a total investment of 130.15 billion VND to implement the construction of 34 projects including roads, schools, cultural centers, and street lighting. Of this amount, 121.8 billion VND came from the local budget; and 8.35 billion VND came from social contributions.

Furthermore, the town has intensified its efforts in propaganda, mobilization, and resource allocation among the people to upgrade and renovate 36 roads, totaling 11,350 meters in length, with a total investment of 31.5 billion VND. Currently, the percentage of rural roads in the town that have been paved has reached 100%, an increase of 15% compared to 2020. The town has completed 6 out of 9 criteria and 3 indicators within 3 sets of criteria, ensuring the completion of the goal of achieving the status of a civilized urban town by 2025.
