The Vietnam National Opera and Ballet Theatre (VNOB) will debut an artistic program titled "Opera Paradise - Paradiso dell'opera" featuring over 100 artists on the evenings of June 21st and 22nd at the Hanoi Grand Opera House.
When we talk about Italy, besides its architectural wonders and paintings, it is also the cradle of the world's highest art form - opera.
It can be said that opera is one of the most authentic and original cultural expressions of the land with the legendary Venice, telling the story of Italy in a way that is completely different from other countries in the world.

The reputation of Italian opera is built upon countless theaters, artists, and especially works in the Romantic style.
Famous works such as De' miei bollenti spiriti, O soave fanciulla , or Il Bacio … speak of romantic love, fidelity, happiness, or the sadness of Violetta in Addio del passato , the despair of Cavaradossi before his execution in E lucevan le stele … all convey the breathtaking beauty of the romanticism characteristic of the boot-shaped land.
Therefore, the art program "Opera Paradise - Paradiso dell'opera" will take the audience to the cradle of world opera, immersing them in the atmosphere of Southeast Europe with the ancient Roman amphitheater, romantic fields, stormy nights, European aristocratic banquets, encounters with passionately in love couples, and a touch of Mozart's music …
The program, directed by People's Artist Nguyen Hong Phong, was staged with the concept of recreating a vibrant Roman Colosseum with classical music and contemporary dance. Alongside this was the sublime performance of talented conductor Dong Quang Vinh and renowned Vietnamese opera artists such as To Loan, Huy Duc, Thanh Binh, Tran Trang, Bui Trang, Anh Vu, and others.
Notably, the performance also featured guest artist Kim Yeo Won from South Korea, and two promising young talents - Do Vu Trang Nhung and Truong Linh - along with the Hanoi Voices international choir.
Speaking about the program, artist Phan Manh Duc, Director of the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet Theatre, shared: “We hope that the audience will truly experience what Backtosuperclassic is, a moment of illusion and reality on the fiery stage of Italian opera art.”
The artists of VNOB are in their final days of rehearsals, hoping to bring art lovers sublime performances at the Hanoi Grand Opera House.
