According to the Industrial Property Gazette published on May 15th, a series of design registration images from VinFast have revealed a modern touring-style electric motorcycle. The overall design reminds many of popular maxi-scooter models such as the BMW C400 GT or the Yamaha TMax 560.
The front of the bike is distinguished by its LED headlight cluster with an X-shaped daytime running light strip, combined with a large windscreen in a characteristic touring style. The body is designed to be elongated and tapered towards the rear, creating a significantly more imposing and sporty feel compared to current mainstream electric motorcycle models.

A notable detail lies in the operating structure, as the new model uses a mid-mounted motor. This configuration is commonly found in high-performance electric motorcycles due to its good weight distribution and improved handling. The floorboard is designed to be flat, likely housing the large-capacity battery pack.
VinFast has not yet announced any official specifications for this electric motorcycle model. However, based on previously revealed details of its electric motorcycle lines, experts believe the vehicle may use an electric motor with a power output of approximately 50 kW and reach a top speed of up to 130 km/h.
If this information turns out to be true, this would be one of the most powerful electric motorcycles ever developed by VinFast. The use of a high-powered motor also means the vehicle needs a completely new battery pack with high discharge capacity, ensuring both powerful performance and a sufficiently long range for practical travel needs.

Currently, the Vietnamese market offers very few options in the high-performance electric motorcycle segment. One of the few notable names is the Nuen N1-S, with a 24 kW motor, a top speed of approximately 130 km/h, and a range of up to 245 km on a single charge. This model is currently priced at around 170 million VND.
VinFast's continued development of new electric motorcycle models shows that the Vietnamese automaker wants to expand its electric vehicle ecosystem to more segments, not just focusing on popular urban scooters as before.
Earlier this year, in February, VinFast confirmed it would launch electric motorcycle models such as Sudub, Sulad, and Subab in the last quarter of 2026. The appearance of the new maxi-scooter suggests the company may have many more unannounced product plans, especially in the high-performance electric vehicle segment for young customers and users who love a powerful driving experience.
