Recently, the People's Committee of District 11 officially launched Ha Ton Quyen Food Street, receiving great attention from people in Ho Chi Minh City, especially food lovers. Not everyone knows that besides the famous dumplings, this street also offers many other dishes that you can try.

Amidst the dumpling paradise with dozens of shops side-by-side, many of which have been around for decades, there's a new beef noodle soup stall that "sprang up" just over 7 months ago, also on Ha Ton Quyen Street. It's the beef noodle soup stall of Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hanh (50 years old).
Ms. Hanh said she has been selling this dish for over 20 years, also in District 11. She only recently moved to this location, coinciding with the official designation of Ha Ton Quyen Street as a food street.
The owner proudly boasts that her dishes are "unlike anything else" in the surrounding eateries. In the first few months, it wasn't too busy, but recently things have been looking better, especially since this food street was established.
"My restaurant is crowded in the early morning. We're open from 6:30 a.m. until late at night. Here, each portion costs between 50,000 and 65,000 VND, and our signature dish is beef noodle soup with pork ribs," the owner introduced.
The beef noodle soup at this restaurant has a rich and flavorful taste.
According to Ms. Hanh, the reason customers love the beef noodle soup here, besides the distinctive flavor honed through decades of apprenticeship, is the fresh, high-quality ingredients she uses every day. Currently, the owner says the customer base is stable, and she hopes it will grow even more as she runs her business with integrity.
Having learned about the restaurant through social media, Tran Nhut Hao (22 years old) and his friend came here to eat. He said that normally, he only comes to Ha Ton Quyen Street to eat dumplings, as it is a famous dish in the area.
However, for several months now, he's also been coming here specifically for the beef noodle soup. The customer said he usually orders the special bowl for 65,000 VND. "Each piece of meat is huge. Plus, there's a big bone too, it's exactly my taste. I'm a beef noodle soup fan, so I often visit this place," he said with a laugh.
Across from this beef noodle soup stall, Ms. Linh (50 years old) also sells seven different dishes every seven days, becoming famous on social media. Accordingly, the stall's weekly menu is as follows: Monday: yellow noodle soup; Tuesday: crab noodle soup and noodle soup; Wednesday: fermented fish noodle soup; Thursday: crab noodle soup; Friday: beef noodle soup with pork trotters; Saturday: braised duck noodles; Sunday: duck curry.
Ms. Linh sells a different dish each day.
The owner said the restaurant has been operating in this area for over 30 years. However, she only sells from noon to afternoon until everything is sold out; she doesn't sell in the evening. The prices of the dishes at Ms. Linh's restaurant range from 35,000 to 70,000 VND depending on the type.
Tea, coffee, soursop tea, snacks…
Interspersed among the famous dumpling shops on Ha Ton Quyen Food Street are also noodle shops, mixed rice paper salad stalls, hotdog stands, dessert shops, coffee shops, and a variety of other drinks for customers to choose from.
Ms. Thu Nguyen (37 years old), the owner of a snack and drink shop here, said she only opened her shop four months ago. Before that, she sold on Minh Phung Street, also in District 11. She mentioned that the area has many long-standing dumpling shops, while she sells a variety of drinks such as soursop tea and mixed rice paper salad, offering something unique and catering to customer needs.

Besides dumplings, there is a wide variety of food and drinks available on Ha Ton Quyen Food Street.
"I have relatives who sell dumplings next door. I've lived here for a long time, so I'm used to it and selling these things is fine; customers still support me regularly. Normally, I sell from 11 am until evening. When people visit Ha Ton Quyen Street, they don't just eat dumplings; there are many other delicious dishes," she said.
Coming out of a well-known tea shop on Ha Ton Quyen Street, Mr. Nhan (26 years old, residing in District 5) said that this is his regular shop. Because his house is nearby, he often stops by to support them.
He said that having lived in Cholon since childhood, he is familiar with all the food areas. On Ha Ton Quyen Food Street, he not only enjoys eating dumplings but is also a regular customer of this restaurant.
"Speaking of dumplings, this place is top-notch, nothing more to say. But if you think this area only sells dumplings, you're mistaken. During the day, they sell many other dishes, including rice dishes and desserts," the customer added.
