The Mimosa Pass will be reopened to traffic at 8:00 AM on November 28, 2025.

At a working session on the morning of November 25th, chaired by Mr. Nguyen Hong Hai, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, aimed at assessing damage and discussing solutions to repair transportation infrastructure, representatives of Project Management Board 85 affirmed that the Mimosa Pass will be completed and opened to traffic by 8:00 AM on November 28th, 2025.

Comrade Nguyen Hong Hai chaired the meeting and requested the implementation of measures to ensure traffic safety before the road is opened to traffic.

Representatives from Project Management Board 85 stated that the unit is urgently carrying out construction, opening temporary roads, paving with asphalt, and reinforcing the road surface to ensure that traffic can resume on schedule. The construction unit plans to pave the road surface on an 8-meter wide base with 2 lanes.

Comrade Nguyen Hong Hai requested that before allowing temporary traffic flow, Project Management Board 85 must complete the system of barriers, signs, and traffic safety measures.

According to Project Management Board 85, phase 2 of the project will involve the construction of an elevated bridge, with the plan already approved by the Ministry of Transport. The elevated bridge will be 9m wide and is expected to commence before December 10th and be completed within 3-4 months.

Comrade Nguyen Hong Hai emphasized that the province will provide maximum support within its authority and will submit a written request to the Ministry of Transport to urge Project Management Board 85 to implement the project urgently. Simultaneously, he requested a review of the entire pass route, addressing areas at risk of landslides, especially drainage points on the negative slope.
