The project "Policy on attracting and utilizing talent for the Vietnam People's Army until 2030, with a vision to 2050" is an important legal basis for promulgating policies to attract and utilize military talent; building a team of military talents capable of creating breakthroughs in the field of research, design, manufacturing, and production of weapons, equipment, and military hardware, including leading experts, scientists , and chief engineers in military science and technology; operational and strategic-level leaders and commanders; defense intelligence officers; talented defense enterprise managers; and many promising young talents in the military and defense fields.

At the conference, delegates contributed many high-quality ideas to clarify the specific tasks of each agency and unit according to the main content and solution groups: Enhancing the awareness and responsibility of Party committees, commanders, and officers and staff; building and perfecting mechanisms and policies; improving quality and creating breakthroughs in training and nurturing talent; building a fair, democratic, professional, civilized, and modern working environment; expanding cooperation in attracting talented people to the Army and cooperating in carrying out tasks; promoting the role and responsibility of agencies, units, and individuals in implementation; mobilizing resources to implement policies to attract and utilize talent; and strengthening information and communication.

Concluding the conference, Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung affirmed: The project is a very important policy to enhance the strength of the Army, contributing to the successful achievement of the goal of building a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern army. Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung requested: Functional agencies need to absorb the opinions at the conference, study and develop a plan to quickly put the project into practice. Based on the contents and solutions, functional agencies need to research, propose, and concretize them into legal documents for implementation. Party committees and commanders of agencies and units need to organize the thorough understanding and implementation of Decision No. 726/QD-TTg seriously, synchronously, on schedule and effectively achieve the goals and requirements of the project; Ensuring coordination, monitoring, supervision, and evaluation of the Project's implementation, and effectively mobilizing resources during the Project's execution, while maintaining objectivity, transparency, fairness, adherence to procedures, principles, and timelines according to assigned tasks; promptly proposing solutions to difficulties and obstacles in implementation, or suggesting adjustments and additions to the plan as required. Military press agencies will continue to promote the Project's dissemination to raise awareness and responsibility among all officers, soldiers, and the people, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals and targets for attracting and utilizing talent within the Vietnam People's Army.
