
In 2024, the average per capita income of people in Cam Giang reached 80.6 million VND/year, 6.8 million VND higher than the average per capita income of Hai Duong province. This income level is nearly double that of 2018, when the district was recognized as a new rural district. Cam Giang is among the localities with the highest average per capita income compared to other localities.
After being recognized as a new rural district, Cam Giang district has undergone significant positive changes. In 2024, the proportion of income from agriculture, forestry, and fisheries accounted for 1.5%, a decrease of 0.94% compared to when the district achieved new rural status in 2018; income from service sectors accounted for 95.63%, an increase of 1.16%. The poverty rate decreased from 1.47% in 2018 to 0.19% in 2024.
